luckily you seem to have escaped unharmed. It is why the law was changed and for good reason. the chances of surviving the first month was about 30% the first 6 months about 50% if you managed the the first year without a long hospital attendance. pass your test on anything bigger than a moped and go out an hop onto a 1000cc monster. limited access to machines above 17 hp at one time here in the UK you could ride bikes up to 250cc as a learner. Now you know why there is a limit on new riders, training courses on small bikes. ![]() quite a rush of blood to the head that was. ![]() presumes one doesn't have insurance either. Just thought I'd share this with you sorry for wrecking one of these finite things but I've inflated their value in doing so ![]() The bike isn't with me right now and the person it's with doesn't have a camera so I can't upload any photos of the damage for probably a couple of days but the front left fairing came off, an indicator, the handles are messed up in some way I couldn't understand they're kind of loose, a part of the black metal thing (what i would call a fork) snapped (although the guy I bought it off (I crashed it right in front of him) said this was basically cosmetic), I think some more of the fairing is scraped, probably the engine casing, a can, and other stuff on the side of the bike (I don't know the anatomy of a motorcycle) is probably damaged. Knew it was a stupid idea as soon as I heard the engine and felt the weight of the bike (I'm about 70kg) but for some reason didn't stop (I did watch videos on how to ride.). Crashed straight into the curb and the bike went in a hedge. I bought a 2002 gpz500 13000 miles yesterday for my first bike despite having never ridden a bike before (and not having a license), being a c*** I decided to try and save money by trying to ride it 10 miles back to my house instead of hiring a van, whisky throttled it and fucked it up.
